“This is a big bookstore,” Max told his grandparents.  Max is right.  But, he and Maci knew just where to find “Piddle Diddle’s Lost Hat” in the big bookstore!

It was nearly ten years ago when East Tennessee siblings Wayne and Ralphine Major sat through several seminars at the big bookstore listening to tips on writing and getting published.  The first-time authors enjoyed a special evening when they joined other authors of Jan-Carol Publishing at a recent book signing hosted by Barnes & Noble of Knoxville.

The evening was made more special as the Piddle Diddle authors got to meet customers who came to get an autographed copy of their first book, “Piddle Diddle’s Lost Hat.”  Focus photographer Dan Andrews spotted two Piddle Diddle fans with their autographed copies of “Piddle Diddle’s Lost Hat.”  Max and Maci’s grandmother was Wayne’s first-grade teacher, and their grandfather was Ralphine’s chemistry teacher.  Piddle Diddle is available online at Barnes & Noble, Amazon, Jan-Carol Publishing, and Major Books of Joy.

Come and meet the authors of “Piddle Diddle, the Widdle Penguin” on Saturday, December 5, 2015, at Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 8029 Kingston Pike, 865-670-0773, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., with a book reading at 10 a.m.  Focus readers may want to stop in and get copies of Piddle Diddle to put under their Christmas tree this year!
