Robert Parker, one of the owners of Wheatlands, Sevier County’s best-known antebellum home, will talk on “Rediscovering Wheatlands Plantation” at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 18 at Seymour Library. Admission is free. Parker and co-owner John Burns have extensively researched the plantation’s history and are constantly finding new facts about the Boyds Creek property. The talk is part of the Friends of Seymour Library’s “How We Live: Then and Now” series. For more information, call the library at 865-573-0728.
