How about a hand for the Gibbs High School cheer team!

Usually, it’s the other way around, with the cheerleaders rooting for Gibbs’ teams throughout the school year.

“We participated in East Tennessee Children’s Hospital’s Fantasy of Trees event in a variety of activities,” said GHS Cheer Coach Cheyenne Pack. “This was our third year participating at this event. A few of the booths they served this year included face painting, ornament making, and Home Depot’s snowman block craft.

“Our squad also participated in the Weigel’s Family Christmas for the second year in a row!

“Lastly, we aided Smithwood Baptist Church over the summer in preparing for their Operation Christmas Child boxes. We actually set a record for loading up the most amount of boxes during a “packing party!”
