The Farragut Museum’s History Hour continues on Tuesday, March 24, at 11 a.m. at Farragut Town Hall. Featured speaker Charlie Rhodarmer, Sequoyah Birthplace Museum Director, will discuss Sequoyah’s development of the Cherokee syllabary.
“Our guests to the Farragut Museum have asked to learn more about the Cherokee Indians, so we are glad to bring in Charlie Rhodarmer from the Sequoyah Birthplace Museum to hear about Sequoyah, his achievements with the Cherokees and humankind as a whole,” said Kristi Vining, Historic Resources Coordinator for the Town of Farragut.
The event is free, and the Farragut Museum is open for tours after the lecture. Light refreshments will be available.
