Come break bread together and celebrate Black History with a FREE Community Breakfast served by your local community leaders. The breakfast will be held at the Phyllis Wheatley YWCA located at 124 S. Cruze Street, Knoxville, Tennessee 37915.

 

Owner Karen Hardin of “Allow Me Catering” will be serving a delicious menu of waffles, eggs, bacon and fruit with coffee and juices.
A short program honoring Black History with a Negro spiritual performed by opera singer Dominick White and W. James Taylor, CEO and founder of Geneva Galleries Inc, will sing James Weldon Johnson’s Black National Anthem, “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”

 

Artwork by Vine students will be displayed and notable African Americans will be recognised.
All members of the Community are welcomed and invited.
