Walk to End Alzheimer’s is World’s Largest Event Dedicated to Alzheimer’s Care, Support and Research
Knoxville, TN – The Alzheimer’s Association is inviting Knoxville residents to join the fight to end Alzheimer’s by participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® on Saturday, Sept. 23 at Zoo Knoxville (3500 Knox Zoo Drive) in Knoxville, TN.
The schedule for the Knoxville Walk to End Alzheimer’s:
8:30 a.m. Registration
10 a.m. Promise Garden Opening Ceremony
10:30 a.m. Walk begins

On Walk Day, participants honor those affected by Alzheimer’s with the poignant Promise Garden ceremony — a mission-focused experience that signifies our solidarity in the fight against the disease. The colors of the Promise Garden flowers represent people’s connection to Alzheimer’s — their personal reasons to end the disease.

Registration and Check-In Open at 8:30 a.m.
COME EARLY! Activities for the whole family including:
- Team Photo Area – Get your Team photo shot and share on social media using #ENDALZKnox
- Pick up your Team sign after you check-in.
- Make your way to the Promise Garden – Pick up your pinwheel flower and write down your dedication
- Go over to the “Why I Walk” Tribute Wall – Walk participants are encouraged to write their “why” on the 2023 Walk Banner
- Visit our Photo Booth area and use our purple props for photos with friends and family
- Stop by our Kids Zone area for face painting, crafts, prizes and cornhole
- Visit our Community Mission area and learn more about our Vendor Sponsors
- Stop by our Alzheimer’s Association Information Booth to learn more us and how you can get involved
