Bringing Art Lovers to Artist Spaces

Artists and makers open their studios to the public for this event, offering insight into their creative processes, unique demonstrations, and original artworks for sale. The one-day self-guided tour provides an intimate look into 18 artist’s working studios throughout Knoxville and the surrounding area.
“When the public has the opportunity to learn first-hand from an artist the ‘story’ behind a piece and what is actually involved in the making of the work, they’re able to develop a much deeper understanding and appreciation of the artwork,” said Shannon Herron, Media Coordinator for Dogwood Arts, “this event invites visitors to discover some truly incredible maker spaces with an upclose and personal experience unlike traditional art markets or fairs.”
The studio tour is free to the public, thanks to the generous support of Home Federal Bank.
