~ from the Seymour Area Chamber of Commerce

With the extreme rise in COVID cases across the area, and with heavy hearts, the decision has been made to cancel the 27th Annual Seymour Community Christmas Parade. Out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our community as well as the many Chamber of Commerce members who work to put the event together, board members felt it was best to forgo the parade for the safety of everyone involved.

Our top priority will always be the health and safety of our community and everyone involved, but there will still be a need within our community that is near and dear to the hearts of The Chamber of Commerce. This is the first time, in the 27-year history of the Seymour Community Christmas Parade, we have had to cancel. And as you know, with your donation given to register and participate in the annual parades, many families in need across our area benefit from these funds. Without these donations, we are not able to assist those families, and this year, especially, the need is so much greater. So we ask that local businesses and everyone within the community still donate to our neighbors in need across our tri-county area.

If you feel lead to donate, please complete the donation form to make a gift in the amount of your choice through December 16th. All donation amounts are greatly appreciated and will be a true Christmas blessing to you and to those families in need.
