During January and February, Knoxville Zoo invites visitors to join them in their cozy log cabin for StoryTime at the Zoo.  Held each Wednesday and Friday mornings at 10:30 a.m., StoryTime features lively animal tales and visits from some of the zoo’s animal ambassadors.

StoryTime at the Zoo is an engaging activity for toddlers and preschoolers.  Each StoryTime is approximately 45 minutes in length and is included as part of general zoo admission.  Now through February, Knoxville Zoo is also celebrating Penguin Discount Days by offering visitors half-price admission.

Knoxville Zoo is Knoxville’s largest year-round attraction.  Located off exit 392 from Interstate 40, the zoo is open every day except Christmas Day. Knoxville Zoo is nationally accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and is committed to the highest standards in animal care and well-being, ethics, conservation, and education. Currently, the zoo is open daily from 10:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.  Admission and ticket sales stop one-hour before the zoo closes.
