Exhibition Featuring 46 Artists Opens August 4th at the Emporium Center + Dogwood Gallery

Dogwood Arts is thrilled to announce the return and expansion of the Dogwood Regional Exhibition, which will be on display at the Emporium Center and Dogwood Gallery in Downtown Knoxville August 4-25th. The Dogwood Regional Exhibition showcases fine art of all styles and genres from progressive and emerging artists within a seven-state radius. Nashville-based artist, Todd Herzberg, juried the exhibition and will award cash prizes totaling $2,000 at the opening reception on August 4th. The organization received over 448 artwork submissions from 178 artists working throughout the Southeast. Forty-six artists were juried into the exhibition; the impressive collection of work includes painting, mixed media, wood, photography, sculpture, ceramics, drawing, and textiles.

New this year: For the first time, the Dogwood Regional Exhibition will span two galleries — with large-scale sculptural work and site-specific installations on display in the Dogwood Gallery at 123 W. Jackson Avenue.
