WHAT:  HONOR FOUNTAIN CITY DAY IN THE PARK 2024, a traditional Memorial Day community celebration honoring our veterans and our essential workers

WHERE:  FOUNTAIN CITY PARK,  5345 NORTH BROADWAY

WHEN:   MEMORIAL DAY, MONDAY, MAY 27, 2024,  10 AM TO 5 PM

EVERYONE IS INVITED TO ATTEND! 

ADMISSION IS FREE!

IN CASE OF RAIN, THE PROGRAM WILL BE HELD IN THE LIONS CLUB BUILDING

Fountain City Town Hall, Inc., is pleased to once again sponsor “Honor Fountain City Day in the Park”.  This Memorial Day celebration began in 1975, but was paused for four years due to COVID.

The theme of the event is “Honoring All of Our Essential Workers”.  Ashley Adams, host of B97.5’s “B” Morning Show, will give the Keynote Address during the Community Awards Ceremony at 3:15 PM.

John Becker, WBIR Channel 10 will present “Service and Sacrifice” during the Memorial Day Ceremony at 4 PM.

There will be live musical entertainment, free children’s games with prizes, exhibits, and craft and food vendors throughout the day.  There will also be a silent auction and the sale of Fountain City T-shirts.

FAMILY ACTIVITIES:  10 AM to 3 PM:

·        Live entertainment including The Crowe Family Band, Logan Murrell (vocalist and guitarist), K-Sounds Chorus, The Bearded and the TN Wind Symphony Jazz Ensemble 

·        Free children’s games with prizes

·        Exhibits by Red Cross and Shriners

·        Craft vendors and The Plant Trolley

·        Silent Auction – Items donated from local businesses
