Caring for a pet is a big responsibility and can get costly, but providing one’s pet with basic yearly vaccines and testing doesn’t have to be. The Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley (HSTV) will be hosting its annual “Dirty Dogs Done Dirt Cheap” low-cost vaccine clinic and dog wash Saturday, August 6 from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. The event will be held at HSTV’s 6717 Kingston Pike facility.
During the event, pet owners can get their cats and dogs vaccinated for the year, their dogs washed, and support the Humane Society all in one visit. HSTV’s clinic will offer vaccines without the cost of an office visit. And when clients purchase a Rabies vaccine and Distemper vaccine, HSTV will vaccinate their dog against Bordetella for free! Dog baths will be $10 and nail trims will be $10 as well. All proceeds will go towards the care of shelter animals in need.
