Given the current pandemic, Knox County Schools and the Knox County Health Department have been working even more closely.
Staff from both KCS and KCHD have weekly scheduled calls and are in regular communication regarding COVID-19 and a variety of matters. KCHD reviewed and provided feedback on the district’s reopening plan, representing just one of many ways the two organizations have partnered collaboratively during this unprecedented time. As the school year approaches, we will continue to work together to monitor multiple metrics, including public health data.
We appreciate our relationship and want to assure our community that we will continue to work together as school reopens.
