Keep Knoxville Beautiful will be hosting its first Third Creek Clean Paddle on May 15, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The event will kick off at the UT Gardens, 2518 Jacob Drive.

The Third Creek Clean Paddle will be a land and water cleanup of Third Creek and the greenway at the UT Gardens. Volunteers will have the option to clean the banks and greenway or utilize a kayak or paddleboard to in the water.  Volunteers can register at http://www.keepknoxvillebeautiful.org/upcoming/

Thanks to the Knoxville Adventure Collective, KKB will have 7 tandem kayaks and paddleboard for volunteers to use. Volunteers are also encouraged to bring their own if they would like. KKB will provide trash bags, gloves, and litter grabbers. All volunteers will receive a limited edition t-shirt designed by students of the Haslam College of Business.
