At today’s Knox County Commission work session Commissioner David Wright proposed resolution R-13-2-903. The resolution reads:
“Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee expressing support of SB916/HB 741 providing for elected School Superintendents in the State of Tennessee.”
The resolution was passed on to full commission without discussion. If the measure passes Knox County Commission- a resolution would be adopted by Knox County Commission expressing support of the state bill which would allow for a return of elected school superintendents in Tennessee.
