Our speaker this month will be Harris D. “Bud” Ford.
After a 45 1/2 year career in athletic media relations, University of Tennessee graduate Bud Ford retired from the University in December 2011. However, in October 2019 returned to the Athletic Department in a part-time position as Athletic Historian.
Ford assists Fulmer and the Athletic Media Relations staff with archiving and various projects of a historical nature.
He currently serves as a member of the selection committee of the Greater Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame.
