Tennessee Athletics and The University of Tennessee Medical Center will honor the legacy of the late legendary coach Pat Summitt with a special commemorative cup available for purchase at concessions stands benefitting Alzheimer’s research on Saturday when the Volunteers welcome UConn for Homecoming in Neyland Stadium.

November is Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month, and a $1 of every Summitt cup sold throughout Neyland Stadium on Saturday will go directly to support Alzheimer’s research at The University of Tennessee Medical Center.

There are over 6 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s Disease with 3 million new cases diagnosed each year. Fans are encouraged to share their Volunteer spirit in supporting Alzheimer’s research at The UT Medical Center via a donation at utmedicalcenter.org/legends.

In addition, the Vols will wear “Summitt Blue” accessories as part of their uniform, similar to the ones worn in last year’s game versus UT Martin.

Kickoff for Tennessee-UConn is set for noon ET on SEC Network. Neyland Stadium is sold out for an 11th consecutive game. Vol Walk is slated for 9:45 a.m. and gates open at 10 a.m. For complete gameday information, visit UTsports.com/gameday.
