The Picky Chick Consignment Sale is back

Yes, that’s right! The Picky Chick Fall Consignment Sale has a new owner, Michelle Lee, and the Fall sale is coming up from Aug. 27-29, 2020 at Knoxville Expo Center.

“The pandemic hasn’t stopped children from outgrowing their clothes and shoes,” said Michelle Lee. “So, I want to be able to provide a safe place for parents to shop for their kids’ needs at an affordable price.”

With families spending more time at home than ever before, Lee is excited to see families sorting through their children’s outgrown items and consigning them at the Knoxville Expo Center this month.

The Picky Chick Consignment sale is keeping up with the latest health guidelines:

Masks are required.
Shoppers must bring their own bags to shop.
Aisles will be 15 ft apart to allow for social/physical distancing.
The Picky Chick is following city guidelines with how many people can be in the building at one time and have added more square feet to accommodate shoppers.
Barriers will be up between cashiers and customers.
Hand sanitizer will be provided.
No food or drinks. For the first time, food trucks will be available outside.

Michelle is mom to Harrison, 6, and Ava, 2, and has been a part of The Picky Chick family for five years. “I was so sad when I heard that my favorite sale was coming to an end,” said Lee.

“After much prayer and thought, I decided to do my part and make sure the sale carried on. I can’t imagine not seeing my Picky Chick family twice a year and not being a part of this valuable community event.”

Inventory seems to be low in retail stores right now, so it can be hard to find the next size up in children’s clothing, as well as toys, books and games, The Picky Chick sale is the ideal place to find those gently used or new with tags items.

Picky Chick Consignment Sale prices range from 50-75% off regular retail prices.

“I love the thrill of the sale,” Lee said. “The stores aren’t as well-stocked as they usually are, so if my children need something I can probably find it at The Picky Chick. I love the great deals too, paying half-price or less for clothing and toys.”
