The speakers this month will be Mac and Marty McBroom talking about Marty’s experience with Deep Brain Stimulation and how it has changed her life.  They live in Clinton and Mac is the Public Information Officer for the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office.  This is a great opportunity to ask questions and learn about this helpful procedure.  Lunch will be provided by Medtronic’s Clinton Young.

Punching for Parkinson’s [our only fundraiser] is happening Saturday, November 4 at 11:00 a.m. at Black Dog Fitness, 9965 Kingston Pike, Knoxville 37922.  Details of this fun fundraiser will be discussed.

PK Hope is Alive Support Group exists to inform, support and provide fellowship for those affected by Parkinson’s Disease in themselves or a loved one.  We meet the third Tuesday of the month 11:30 a.m. -1:00 p.m. at Central Baptist Church, 130 Providence Road, Oak Ridge in the Fellowship Hall located at the back of the church (no stairs).
