Some Knoxville seniors are proving that kindness knows no age. Residents at Concord Place, an Anthem Memory Care community, will host a community lemonade stand to raise funds for Little River Wildlife Rehab at 2 p.m., May 7, at the community located at 901 Concord Rd., Knoxville, TN.

The public is invited to purchase drinks and meet Benny, a special turtle who can’t be released back into the wild.

“This fundraiser gives our residents a joyful way to connect with the community while supporting a cause they truly care about,” said Lorie Ann Wilson, life engagement director for Concord Place. “Every cup of lemonade represents compassion, purpose and the shared desire to make a difference.”
