The Princeton Review has named Carson-Newman University as a “Best in the South.” The accolade is part of the organization’s “2027 Best Colleges: Region by Region” listing. The Princeton Review says the listing represents institutions that are “academically outstanding and well worth consideration in your college search.”

Along with Tennessee, the South listing includes universities in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina and South Carolina.

The accolade comes as Carson-Newman was cited in September as one of the South’s “Best Values” by U.S. News and World Report.
