Free, family-friendly “Tackles & Treats” event to feature photos with Telander, Halloween candy, costume contest and prizes
The Volunteer Club is inviting Tennessee fans of all ages to celebrate Halloween with Volunteers football player Jeremiah Telander during “Tackles & Treats,” a free, family-friendly event Thursday, Oct. 29, from 5 to 6 p.m. at The Volunteer Club store, 6601 Kingston Pike.
The Halloween celebration will give young Vols fans and their families an opportunity to meet Telander, take photos, collect Halloween candy and show off their favorite costumes.
As part of the festivities, The Volunteer Club will host a children’s costume contest, with Telander selecting his favorite costume. The winner will receive a mini helmet autographed by Telander, along with additional autographed items from current Tennessee Volunteers.
Fans will also have an opportunity to receive a free ’47 Brand hat. The first 20 attendees who share a photo from the event on social media and tag The Volunteer Club will receive a hat, while supplies last.
Families are encouraged to dress in their favorite Halloween costumes, wear Tennessee orange and enjoy an evening celebrating Halloween and Volunteer traditions.
