Keeping with tradition, Harmony’s 14th annual Mudder’s Day Madness Mud Run is on Saturday before Mother’s Day, May 9, 2026. During our traditional 5K, the course spans across Montvale’s muddiest trails with 20 obstacles. Runners ages 8 and up can race on their own or with a team. In addition to our 5K, we now have a family-friendly, untimed Fun Run for anyone ages 4 and up! The Fun Run distance is about 1.2 miles and will include trail running, field running, obstacles, and mud, of course!
Costumes are encouraged, and the most creative could win a trophy! Vendors, music, and refreshments will be on-site for participants and their fans, friends, and families to enjoy.
Another thing that hasn’t changed is the spirit of Harmony on full display as people of all ages and backgrounds trudge together through the muck and mud, pressing personal limits, and overcoming obstacles on their way to the finish line, where a great celebration awaits. There’s no turning back because everyone makes it through with courage, perseverance, and help when they need it. However, without an abundance of tape, not every shoe makes it through.
“Our Mudder’s Day Madness Mud Run is an event so many people look forward to participating in every year,” said Nicole Coning, CEO of Harmony. “We can’t wait to showcase the property and enjoy some muddy fun! The funds raised from the event will support the preservation of Montvale Springs as well as our therapeutic camps and programming.” To learn more & sign-up, please visit https://harmonyfamilycenter.org/events/mudrun/
