Fountain City Town Hall is hosting an Annual Fishing Day Event for the Fountain City community on Bobby Wilson Fishing Day set on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The fishing tournament and prizes are sponsored by Hawg Molly Fishing, the educational piece is sponsored by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, and Mynatt Funeral Home is sponsoring donuts and bottled water for the day of the event.

The Knox County Parks and Recreation Department will again partner with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency to host the annual Free Fishing Day this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cove at Concord Park off S. Northshore Drive. The event is geared toward families and children and will allow those without a license to participate in fishing for a day. It’s a great event for the whole family and gives everyone the opportunity to have fun and spend some time together outside.
