Join Oak Ridge Memorial Park and the Association of Fundraising Professionals – Great Smoky Mountain Chapter for Perfecting Your Plans, an informative and approachable afternoon focused on end-of-life planning, charitable giving, and legacy building.
This special event brings together trusted professionals from across our region who are dedicated to helping you prepare for the future with peace of mind:
- Jennifer Lee, Vice President of AFP-GSM, will open the event with a discussion on the powerful impact of planned and legacy gifts on the long-term health of your favorite nonprofit organizations.
- Oak Ridge Memorial Park will explore options for what to do with a loved one’s cremains versus traditional burial.
- Companion Funeral & Cremation Service will walk attendees through funeral planning options and what to expect during the process.
- Leigh Cowden, Principal Attorney and Founder of Vermillion Law, will cover essential aspects of estate planning and the legal tools available to protect your wishes.
- Chris Shamblin of Edward Jones will offer guidance on financial and investment strategies that support a well-rounded legacy plan.
Post Event – Stay to enjoy refreshments, connect one-on-one with presenters, and collect resources from presenting organizations.
The program will conclude with an open Q&A, giving attendees a chance to ask questions and connect directly with the presenters. Door will open at 1:15pm.
