Keep Knoxville Beautiful to Host Fifth Annual East Knoxville Community Cleanup
Keep Knoxville Beautiful (KKB) will be hosting their annual East Knoxville Community Cleanup on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The event will kick off at Caswell Park, located at 616 Jessamine Street, Knoxville, TN, 37917.
The East Knoxville Community Cleanup is KKB’s largest cleanup effort in East Knoxville each year. KKB is expecting approximately 400 volunteers to spread out all over East Knoxville to pick up litter from the community’s roads, parks, and waterways.
KKB will host cleanups at Caswell Park and First Creek for individual volunteers. In addition, leaders from East Knoxville neighborhoods, businesses, and local community organizations will spread out all over East Knoxville to pick up litter and cover an area of 22 square miles. Participating neighborhood associations, businesses, and student organizations include Parkridge Neighborhood, Vine Middle School, Muse Knoxville, Mu Zeta, Zeta Phi Beta, and Surveying and Mapping LLC.
In partnership with Ijams Nature Center, KKB will also be hosting an invasive species removal with volunteers at Caswell Park along First Creek.
Keep Knoxville Beautiful would like to thank our generous sponsors of the East Knoxville Community Cleanup: WM, Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, Pete and Thomas Foundation, Surveying and Mapping, ZC Productions, Junk Galaxy, the City of Knoxville, Knox County, Keep America Beautiful, Keep Tennessee Beautiful, and Nobody Trashes Tennessee.
