YOLO Foundation Launches in East Tennessee to Grant Dreams for Terminally Ill Adults

The YOLO Foundation announced the official launch of its nonprofit organization and website, www.yolofoundation.org, dedicated to fulfilling the heartfelt dreams of adults facing terminal illness in East Tennessee. By creating cherished experiences, the Foundation helps individuals turn their Dreams into lasting legacies of love and memory.

Founded by a retired healthcare executive with over 40 years of experience in hospitals, hospice, private caregiving, and senior support, YOLO Foundation was inspired by the profound impact of making a Dream come true can have on those nearing the end of life. The name, an acronym for You Only Live Once, embodies the organization’s mission to celebrate life’s precious moments, even in its final stages.

The Foundation serves residents in Blount, Sevier, and Knox Counties, focusing on individuals in hospice care, veterans, active-duty military, those facing financial hardship, and patients with urgent or immediate needs. Dreams may include experiences such as family reunions, special outings, or moments of personal significance—memories that transcend material value and bring comfort to both the individual and their loved ones.

“Our vision is to honor life by turning dreams into reality,” said Randy Carson, Founder of YOLO Foundation. “These experiences not only give peace and joy to those we serve but also provide treasured memories for families to carry forward.”

YOLO Foundation invites community members, healthcare providers, and donors to join in supporting its mission. To learn more, apply for a dream, volunteer, or contribute, visit www.yolofoundation.org.
