Friday, December 12, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Drive-Thru Drop-Off at 1611 East Magnolia Avenue
~ ~ from East Tennessee PBS
East Tennessee PBS is proud to continue its commitment to serving our neighbors through a special community food drive supporting Wesley House Community Center. This effort follows the remarkable impact of SNAP GAP, where East Tennessee PBS brought together more than 100 community organizations to help individuals and families facing food insecurity. As the need continues, we are once again calling on the public to help us support families right here at home.
On Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., community members are invited to simply drive through the East Tennessee PBS parking lot, located at 1611 East Magnolia Avenue. Volunteers will meet you at your car to collect non-perishable food donations—quick, safe, and convenient.
To make the day even more fun for families, visitors will be greeted by beloved PBS Kids characters, including Cookie Monster, Daniel Tiger, and more.
This event is made possible with the support of our partners: Ullrich Printers, Home Federal Bank, and Wesley House Community Center.
“We remain deeply committed to strengthening our community and making sure our neighbors have the support they need,” said Vickie Lawson, president and CEO of East Tennessee PBS. “Whether through SNAP GAP or this ongoing food drive, we believe our role is to use our platform and resources to connect people with help, hope, and one another.”
