12th Of Never

The daily newspaper has never been especially good at hiding its own bias while pretending it has none.  For the last several weeks, the Sentinel’s slip hasn’t just been showing, but she’s been running naked through the streets.  The difference between The Focus and the Sentinel is clear, and we acknowledge ours is a Republican newspaper.  They pretend to aspire to the loftiest rafters of journalism while wallowing in the pig-pen of Democrat-Socialism.  It is readily apparent to anyone who can read the English language.

The latest effort was when the Sentinel wondered in its pages who is running the Knox County Sheriff’s Office while Sheriff Tom Spangler is undergoing treatment for cancer.  The answer is quite simple: Tom Spangler is running the sheriff’s department.  Spangler has still been coming into the office, and after Covid, is there anyone who wants to pretend someone cannot work at home?

There is also a chain of command in the department that continues to function.  Regular readers of the Sentinel may be presently racking their brains to try and remember, during the four years Joe “Puddin’ Head” Biden was in office, did the daily newspaper ever wonder who was actually running the White House?  It is possible to pinpoint the date the Knoxville News Sentinel wrote about the fact that the president of our country was mentally incompetent: it was on the 12th of Never.  Did any of the Democrats at the daily newspaper ever question who was running the autopen?  That, too, occurred on the 12th of Never.

When did the Sentinel ever give any Republican the same kind of fawning coverage they gave Obama, Biden or any other Democrat?  You guessed it!  That, too, happened on the 12th of Never.

When will the Knoxville News Sentinel be fair and unbiased and try journalism for a change?  When will the News Sentinel cease tilting everything about race?  Yes, those things will also occur on that most momentous day for the daily newspaper: the 12th of Never.

That date actually means something to many Knox Countians, as the 12th of Never is when most everyone picks up the daily newspaper to see what’s in it.

A Reckoning For  Waste, Fraud And Abuse

Another thing you failed to see in the News Sentinel was anything relating to the apparently massive fraud and waste of perhaps as much as $9 billion of taxpayer money by a host of Somali land pirates and their accomplices.  Yet one of the chief land pirates is Aimee Bock, who is white and a non-immigrant, nor does she appear to be an illegal citizen.  Bock just appears to be a thoroughly dishonest and utterly corrupt woman who milked a welfare program for all it was worth and more besides.  For those of you who still have functional memories, you will remember how Democrat-Socialists and their satellites like the daily newspaper dismissed DOGE, as there was not a penny of waste or fraud in the federal budget.  They were adamant about that.  The Republicans were merely proposing to take food out of the mouths of children.  Well, Aimee and her fellow land pirates concocted a personally profitable scheme, saying they were feeding children in need. Aimee Bock created a non-profit called “Feeding Our Future.”  Aimee made herself the executive director of Feeding Our Future, but the organization didn’t feed much of anybody except Bock and her co-conspirators.   And, Lordy, it provided them with a mighty nice lifestyle.  Aimee and company claimed to have provided 91 million meals during the Covid pandemic.  That fraud supposedly netted her and her confederates some $250 million.  The US Department of Justice has labeled Bock’s set-up as “the single largest Covid-19 fraud scheme in the country.”  At least, so far.

And sadly, the scheme set forth by Aimee Bock and her fellow land pirates may only be the tip of the iceberg. More than $21 million was evidently spent on either unnecessary or undelivered services for autism therapy.  Medicare seems to have been looted for millions via scams involving housing, childcare facilities and reimbursements. Information obtained during the investigation into these programs showed fake lists of children supposedly fed and provided for, with a “cash pipeline” sending the funds to numerous nonexistent distribution sites and kickbacks. Poor Aimee has just been sentenced to 42 years in federal prison.

Aimee is taking responsibility, saying she “failed.”  Aimee’s attorney insisted she deserved no more than three years in the penitentiary even though she used the pilfered millions by purchasing luxury cars, international travel, and real estate.  Yep, Aimee was lecturing the rest of us on how to be good citizens and stewards, all the while living luxuriously off the tax dollars of working people, pretending to feed hungry children.  The judge didn’t agree, and Aime is off to prison, and the White House intern no longer has access to Joe Biden’s auto pen to pardon her, so she may be there for a while.

Remember that the next time someone tells you there is no waste or fraud in federal welfare programs.  The pirates operate on both land and sea.

And where was the daily newspaper in reporting these outrages?  Why, they were flying the skull and crossbones, of course!
