Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union™ celebrated the groundbreaking of its 25th branch on July 30, 2026, at 7605 Strawberry Plains Pike in Knoxville. The new Strawberry Plains branch will expand access to financial services for members and communities in eastern Knox, Sevier and Jefferson Counties.

KTVAECU selected Strawberry Plains in response to requests from members for a location in the area. The new branch will help connect the Credit Union’s branch network across East Tennessee and bring local service closer to members.

“The best way to serve a growing community is to listen to the people who call it home,” said Lynn Summers, president and CEO of Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union. “Our members asked for a branch in eastern Knox County, and we listened. The Strawberry Plains branch gives more families and businesses another convenient place to manage their money.”

The Strawberry Plains branch will offer a full range of financial services. Members will have local access to checking and savings accounts, auto and home loans, business services, and personal service from a local team.

“This branch is about more than adding another location,” Summers said. “It is about placing service where our members need it and making it easier for people across the area to connect with us.”

The Strawberry Plains branch marks another step in KTVAECU’s long-term investment in East Tennessee and its commitment to the people and communities it serves.

Construction is underway. KTVAECU looks forward to the branch’s completion in early 2027 and the opportunity to serve members for years to come.
