United Way of Greater Knoxville and the William Powell Park Planning team would like to invite the community to attend their upcoming Community Meal and Park Design Plan Share-out.
It will be on Monday, Sep. 14, from 5-6:30 p.m. at the YWCA Phyllis Wheatley Center, 124 S. Cruze St. This community meal event will feature a presentation by the design team and grant partners that includes community data, storytelling and history, and the final design plan for William Powell Park (aka Linden Park). The theme is “William Powell Park: Our Park, Our Health”.
Tacos and all the fixings will be provided by Ram Pablos. There will also be free childcare!
All Park neighbors are invited to attend, so please share. This community event is a great opportunity to learn about how funding and policy impact infrastructure for Parks, biking, and walking in our community.
