The Corryton Community Club is pleased to announce that Mayor Henderson will serve as the official starter for the 2026 Possum Chase, taking place Saturday, October 24, in picturesque downtown Corryton.
Mayor Henderson will help kick off our popular community race, welcoming runners and walkers of all ages for a morning of fitness, fellowship, and community spirit.
The Possum Chase features three race distances: 2-mile, 4-mile, and 8-mile events. Registration begins at 7:00 a.m., with the first race starting at 8:30 a.m.
Now in our 11th year, the Possum Chase is an annual fundraiser benefiting the Corryton Community Club and the Corryton Hospitality Food Pantry. The event brings together runners, families, volunteers, and local supporters to celebrate the community while raising funds for worthwhile local causes.
Participants and spectators are encouraged to come out, enjoy the excitement, and support this hometown tradition. Whether you are an experienced runner or simply want to be part of the fun, the Possum Chase offers something for everyone.
