Knox County Office on Aging announces the 2020 Senior Angel Tree is Open. Donations for Knox County Seniors in need can be made now through December 7 at https://bit.ly/seniorangeltree

The CAC Office on Aging is a public non-profit agency. Our goal is to support seniors in the Knoxville-Knox County area so that they may live happy, fulfilling lives and help individuals avoid unnecessary institutionalization for as long as possible.

Each of the Seniors on the 2020 Senior Angel Tree are nominated based on their dire need as determined by their program or case manager. Many fall into one or more of the following life circumstances: homeless or recently moved into stable housing, a victim of a crime, had to return to work in order to support themselves, the primary caregiver for an adult or child, have no community support, have recently suffered a loss, are frail, homebound or experiencing a recent and serious decline in their health.

This year due to the Covid-19 situation there are multiple ways to provide a holiday gift for a needy Senior and still stay safe. If you choose to support a Senior you may:
