The Tennessee Artists Association will be holding an exhibition of member works at the Clayton Center for the Arts on the campus of Maryville College in the Denso and La Dolce Galleries from September 1st through September 28th.  A reception to meet the artists will be Friday, September 17, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Betty Bullen, President of TAA stated that this show, titled “What is Important to Us”, represents some of the very best work of its members, and is a very personal show for the organization.  TAA represents artists of various skill levels, working in a variety of mediums and is a volunteer organization created by artists for artists.

The Tennessee Artists Association is a dynamic organization that will be celebrating 50 years of arts advocacy in 2022.   TAA holds monthly meetings at 7:00 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month at Westminster Presbyterian Church located at 6500 Northshore Drive, Knoxville, TN.  Meetings provide artists with mutual support in the pursuit of artistic expression, opportunities to share practical skills and knowledge, as well as workshops, demonstrations and classes.  Additionally, members are eligible to participate in multiple juried and non-juried shows and sales opportunities, including an annual show in conjunction with the Dogwood Arts Festival.  TAA maintains a working studio/gallery, Studio 106, in the Emporium, at 100 South Gay St., Knoxville, TN.
