Now in its 22nd year, ArtXtravaganza is a vibrant fusion of art and community, where guests can purchase fine art paintings, sculpture, jewelry, photography, and more – all at a variety of price points. Visitors can look forward to a rich tapestry of mediums, ranging from oil/acrylic, ceramic and watercolor, to wood, glass, stone, and fiber, and can engage with the artists to learn more about their creative processes. To keep the show fresh and exciting for both first-time and returning visitors, many of the artists are new to this year’s ArtXtravaganza.
Jessica Ramsey, artist and owner of Jessica Ramsey Art & Murals in Knoxville, and Nashville-based jewelrydesigner, Tony Perrin, founder of Lock and Key Design, are ArtXtravaganza’s featured artists for 2024.
ArtXtravaganza will also include a student art exhibition, presenting pieces by Webb Lower, Middle and Upper School grades, as well as an “artist in action” booth with Webb student-artists.
Proceeds from ArtXtravaganza help support Webb’s visual and performing arts. A hallmark of Webb’s arts education is the school’s Artist-In-Residence program. This four-to-six-week on-campus teaching and learning experience features nationally and internationally acclaimed artists. It provides Webb students with a view into the real world of art by exposing them to professional artists, their work and their perspectives, and inspires students to explore their own creative abilities. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds from this year’s
ArtXtravaganza will go toward a one-year scholarship to support a student attending Knoxville’s Community School of the Arts.
Doors to ArtXtravaganza will be open from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, March 1. The art sale continues on Saturday, March 2, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday, March 3, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Thirty percent
