Computers can be intimidating, but they don’t have to be! Join us for introductory computer classes offered bi-monthly on an alternating schedule.The classes offered are and Level I: Introduction to Computers will be presented on December 6 and Level II: Internet & Email Basics (January 3).  

Level I: Introduction to Computers (December 6)

• ·         What the class covers: This class will provide an introduction to using the mouse and keyboard. Other topics covered include instruction on working with windows and a discussion of computer terminology.
• ·         When: Offered from 11 AM to 12 PM on the first Friday of alternating months.

Level II: Internet and Email Basics (January 3)

• ·         What the class covers: This class will provide instruction on navigating a web browser, exploring the library website, using search engines, and printing web pages. All participants will leave with a valid and working email address, as well as with the knowledge on how to use the account.

The classes are free-of-charge and limited to four participants. Pre-registration is required at least three days prior to the class. Completion of Level I is required to be able to participate in Level II.  Please contact the SCPLS Seymour Branch Library, 137 W.
