CLOSING DAY CELEBRATION AT THE NEW HARVEST FARMERS MARKET
Fall Scavenger Hunt, Family Fun, and Fresh Local Food
The New Harvest Farmers Market will wrap up its 2025 season with a fall celebration on Thursday, September 25, from 3–6 PM at New Harvest Park (4775 New Harvest Lane).
To mark the closing day, Nourish Knoxville will host a free, fall-themed scavenger hunt around New Harvest Park as part of its Nourish Moves program. All ages are welcome. Every participant will receive $3 in Produce Bucks to spend on fresh fruits and vegetables at the market, and those who complete the scavenger hunt will take home a free mini pumpkin to brighten their fall décor.
Families can also enjoy a dedicated Kids Zone, complete with chalk, bubbles, frisbees, hula hoops, and more.
The market’s final vendor lineup of the season will include:
- Mountain Meadows, Seven Springs Farm, and Thompson Farms with fall produce favorites
- VG’s Bakery and Frog Juice Kombucha with pastries and kombucha
- Mitchell Family Farm and Seven Springs Farm with beef
- Flatford Flower Farm with fresh-cut flowers
As always, the market will operate its SNAP & Double Up Food Bucks program, helping SNAP customers double their dollars to purchase fresh, local fruits and vegetables.
“The New Harvest Farmers Market has been a place for neighbors to gather, farmers to share their harvest, and families to enjoy fresh, local food & fun activities all season long,” said Mizuki Hanford, Markets Manager. “We hope the community will come together one last time in 2025 to celebrate closing day and finish the season on a high note.”
