Cookie Comeback

Girl Scouts host pop-up drive-thru sales at Downtown West Shopping Center Friday and Saturday

It’s a cookie comeback – a second chance to stock up on Girl Scout cookies and support young women in East Tennessee. Girl Scouts of Southern Appalachians will host pop-up drive-thru cookie sales Friday and Saturday. Patrons don’t even have to get out of the car to purchase cookies and help bridge the funding gap for the Girl Scout experience.

The drive-thru sale takes place at Downtown West Shopping Center at 1567 Downtown West Blvd. in Knoxville:

  • Friday, May 2, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 3, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

This may be the season’s last sale for signature Girl Scout Cookies and provides an additional opportunity to treat your tastebuds while doing something sweet to support girls in your community.

Girl Scout cookie sales are the main fundraiser for the organization designed to cultivate courage, confidence and character to encourage future female leaders in East Tennessee and beyond. Proceeds from the cookies, which cost $6 per box, support program offerings, regional camps and community troops.
