East Tennessee Purchasing Association to host 15th Annual Business Matching & Tradeshow

July 20 event to connect businesses to government agencies and vendors

Representatives of small and mid-sized businesses interested in working with local governments can interact with up to 20 municipalities, plus multiple vendors, in one stop at the East Tennessee Purchasing Association’s (ETPA) 15th Annual Business Matching & Tradeshow in Knoxville.

Following a three-year hiatus, the event will be held Thursday, July 20, from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Rothchild Catering & Conference Center, located at 8807 Kingston Pike. Doors open at 7:30 a.m.

Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with cities, counties and other agencies to get information about their processes, available contracts and upcoming bids.

“We are grateful that we are now able to resume this event post-pandemic,” said Lynn Farnham, ETPA’s board president. “The opportunity for businesses to meet in person with potential customers and governmental buyers from across East Tennessee in one stop is invaluable.”

Registration is free for attendees who wish to meet with government agencies to learn about upcoming business opportunities and visit the tradeshow booths for potential teaming opportunities. Tradeshow booths and sponsorship opportunities also are available for a fee and include an additional opportunity for networking with the government agencies.
