The Fountain City Business and Professional Association has a new monthly project to give back to the community. The FCBP GIVE project offers members a simple way to support different area needs by donating specific goods or money. The next association meeting is January 12 at noon at On Broadway Event Center, 4683 Old Broadway in Fountain City.
FCBP GIVE will first help Susannah’s House, a local ministry serving women who are overcoming addictions and their relationships with their children. The idea is to build better life skills while promoting spiritual growth.
Susannah’s House is located at 923 Dameron Avenue. The FCBP GIVE need this month is for baby food, specifically vegetables and fruits in jars or squeeze pouches, for the nursery. The association is asking members to learn more about the mission by visiting www.susannahshouse.org or calling (865)507-5938. Members are being urged to bring the donations to the meeting as well as a business card. All givers will be entered into a giver-only door prize drawing.
