French Memorial Park Splash Pad Ribbon Cutting Set for Thursday
County to Now Have Major Water Features in All Four Regions

Representatives from the Knox County Mayor’s Office, Parks and Recreation, and former Knox County Commissioner Carson Dailey will officially open the county’s latest splash pad, this one in South Knox County at French Memorial Park. That means the county will have splash pads in all four geographical locations: New Harvest Park (East); Carl Cowan Park (West), and Powell Station Park (North). The splash pads are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day through mid-September. During the ceremony, officials also will talk about the major updates made earlier this year to New Harvest Park.
