Thursdays beginning April 5, 2018 through May 10, 2018 (a six week course)

9 a.m. – 11 a.m. at O’Connor Senior Center, 611 Winona Street

 Registration: $20/person; $30/couple

Lunch is included with your registration.

Instructor: Joy Gaertner, Certified Grief Recovery Specialist

Curriculum includes “The Grief Recovery Handbook” by John W. James and Russell Friedman

The Grief Recovery Course will help you discover an action plan to move beyond the pain caused by death, divorce, the loss of health, job, finances, lifestyle, retirement, special relationship, a beloved pet, or other major loss experiences.

You may be experiencing feelings of fear, anger, and anxiety about a loss that has not occurred but may happen in the future.  This is “anticipatory grief” and is normal for people to experience. The Grief Recovery Course will also help you build strategies to cope with anticipatory grief.

Everyone welcome!
