The food drive will run from February 18-25, 2025, with collection stations at Knox County senior centers and libraries. Find locations on the website at Knox County Senior Centers and Knox County Libraries.

Knox PAWS matches eligible seniors with adoptable pets. Seniors 60 or older, living independently in Knox County, and meeting income requirements can receive a pet through the program. The CAC provides ongoing support, including veterinary exams, vaccinations, and heartworm/flea prevention.

Feed-A-Pet helps seniors who already own pets but struggle to provide food. The program offers monthly food assistance to those 60 or older with an annual income below 150% of the federal poverty level. Participants’ pets must be spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccines.
