Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett posed a question on many’s mind this week, particularly in light of the issues that continue to plague the Knox County School System.

“If you support an elected school superintendent, please raise your hand?” Burchettt asked  the hundreds of delegates present at the Knox County GOP Convention. The response was unanimous among the crowd, and a motion was then made to make the desire to see an elected school superintendent in Knox County the official position of the Knox County republican party regarding the matter.
