Knox County Parks and Recreation to Host Fourth Annual Neon Glow Party

Knox County Parks & Recreation is inviting the community to light up the night at its Neon Glow Party Extravaganza, a free back-to-school kickoff celebration packed with music, dancing and glowing activities.

The event will be held from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, at Ball Camp Park, 8734 Ball Camp Pike, Knoxville.

Families, students and friends are encouraged to wear their brightest neon outfits and come ready for a night of unforgettable fun. The event will feature illuminated activities, foam pits, splatter and body paint stations, a silent disco and on-site vendors offering treats and refreshments.

“This is the perfect way to bring our community together, celebrate the start of a new school year and remind kids and families that fun and fitness go hand in hand,” said Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs. “We’re proud to host events like this that give our residents unique opportunities to enjoy our parks in creative and exciting ways.”

Admission is free, and all ages are welcome. Guests are encouraged to bring their party spirit and plenty of energy as Ball Camp Park transforms into a glowing celebration under the stars.
