Donations Accepted Through December 31, 2025

The Knox PAWS (Placing Animals With Seniors) program and Feed-A-Pet are holding their Howliday Donation Drive, inviting the community to help provide food and other essential supplies for pets owned by income-limited older adults throughout Knox County. Donations will be accepted through December 31, 2025.

Knox PAWS pairs adoptable shelter pets with qualifying older adults, while Feed-A-Pet ensures pets receive ongoing food. With community support, the Howliday Donation Drive helps keep pets healthy, comfortable, and safely at home with the older adults who love them.

“Older adults whose pets qualify for the Feed-A-Pet program are eternally grateful for the help they get from our community in keeping their furry friends fed and cared for,” said program manager Monica Brown. “Too often, older adults who are living on a fixed-income struggle to meet their own basic needs, and Feed-A-Pet provides peace of mind knowing that their pet will not go hungry. All of this support comes directly from donations from our community.”
