Michael K. Shaffer is a Civil War Historian, author, lecturer ,newspaper columnist, tour guide and this month’s guest speaker at the Knoxville Civil War Roundtable. Shaffer is also the former president of the Cobb County Roundtable and currently serves on board of the River Line Historic Area and a consultant to the Friends of Camp McDonald. Michael holds BA and MA degrees in Military History: Civil War Studies.
