KNOXVILLE’S LARGEST KIDS’ PARTY SHOWCASED BY SHONEY’S RETURNS TO WORLD’S FAIR PARK PERFORMANCE LAWN
SATURDAY, MAY 31st FROM 10 A.M. – 5 P.M.
An action-packed celebration that brings together children of all ages for a day filled with exciting activities, entertainment, and endless fun.
Knoxville’s Largest Kids’ Party, showcased by Shoney’s, returns to World’s Fair Park on Saturday, May 31st, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $10 per person, and kids two and under are free. Cash and credit cards will be accepted at the gate. The event proceeds will benefit Childhelp, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect.
Now in its fifth year, the event is produced by Dickson Media & Events and proudly sponsored by Shoney’s. Families can expect a full day of entertainment and activities designed to kick off summer in the most memorable way.
This year’s festivities feature the Party Pals Parade, stepping off at 1 p.m. and showcasing fan-favorite characters including Shoney Bear, Smokey, Monty & Molly Moose with Wilderness of the Smokies, Knox with the Knoxville Smokies, Jasper the Rooster from the TN Valley Fair, Sharky, and Splash from River Rat, plus a royal lineup of princesses and superheroes presented by Princess Parties by Mary.
Guests will enjoy over 30 kid-focused vendors and attractions including the Food City Performance Stage featuring the Party Boys DJ Show, Princess Sing-Along, Strawberry Pie Eating Contest, a Balloon show and more. Families can also look forward to the all-new Y-12 Family FUN-D Zone filled with bounce houses and inflatable games, Dollywood’s Foam Zone, face painting, Little Ponderosa Petting Zoo, and exciting experiences with local favorites such as The Little Gym, No Chance Baseball, The Island, Soccer Shots, The Muse, and Madi Grace Boutique.
Breaking Barriers in a Brand-New Way- :60 Second Smash
In a powerful new addition to the lineup, this year’s event will host the :60 Second Smash at approximately 3:00 PM on the Main Stage and adjacent No Chance Baseball Area. This high-energy, live-action segment features youth athletes from No Chance Baseball, a VFL baseball player, and World Record Martial Artist Master Leif Becker, all united in support of Childhelp’s mission.
With Hall of Famer Todd Helton on live commentary, the segment delivers an unforgettable mix of sports, competition, inspiration, and community impact
reminding us all the importance of standing up for children facing abuse and neglect.
