The Knox County Commission candidates will participate in a meet and greet tonight at the Knoxville News Sentinel. The following week, on Thursday, Feb. 13, Knox County School Board candidates will participate in a forum at Logan Temple AME Zion Church.
Both events will start at 6:30 p.m. and are co-sponsored by Centro Hispano, the Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, the East Tennessee Society of Professional Journalists, Knoxville Branch NAACP, the Greater Knoxville Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Knoxville Area Urban League Young Professionals, National Pan-Hellenic Council, Inc., and Knox County Education Coalition. The candidates will be available for interviews immediately following the forum.
