Details involving #Southfest have begun to emerge. On the county side, the Mayor’s office is hard at work brainstorming. One proposed plan includes “meet the fleet.” The idea is to allow young children the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and get their photo taken with fire trucks, police cars, dump trucks, and other county vehicles.  The idea is simple, very cost-effective, and makes a lot of sense.
